South Omaha Birth Records

Instructions on how to search within these spreadsheets can be found in this instructional document.

About this index: The Greater Omaha Genealogical Society has transcribed South Omaha birth records recorded by the Douglas County Clerk's Office from microfilmed copies held by the Omaha Public Library. The original records are located at the Douglas County Historical Society in Omaha, NE. The indexed records run from December 5, 1895, through October 21, 1910. Every effort was made to ensure that the records were transcribed as accurately as possible. Some entries were not legible and question marks were inserted to indicate questions. Errors were transcribed as written. Not all births were recorded. Just because they are not listed in this document does not mean that records do not exist somewhere else. The volunteers who transcribed these records recommend the information found here be compared with the microfilmed version and/or the original version for your interpretation.
